Tailored Health and Fitness LLC was formed in 2019 by owner and head coach Jonny Catanzano. Tailored health and Fitness was assembled to offer online coaching to men and women utilizing only certified trainers and nutritionists, with the intent to offer strictly science and evidence-based training and nutrition advice, all delivered to you with the latest and most efficient cutting edge technology. We strive for white-glove service, as well as the ability to communicate with us whenever we are needed.

Jonny Catanzano is a professional trainer and nutritionist, as well as a national-level bodybuilder. Jonny initially fell in love with health and fitness at the young age of 12 when he got into weight lifting under his father's advise to help with football and other sports at the time. He primarily played football and baseball growing up, but he had a lot of other athletic hobbies like roller hockey, mountain biking and golf. After graduating from Franklin Regional HS in 2002, which is located 20 mins east of Pittsburgh, PA, Jonny walked-on to play college football at the University of Tennessee. From 2002-2006 he played defensive back for the Tennessee Volunteers, led by legendary coach Phillip Fulmer in the SEC. Jonny was a member of the 2004 Cotton bowl champion team that beat Texas A&M in their home state 38-7.

After college, Jonny was still very active in athletics, although he knew it was time to hang up the football pads. Starting in 2007, he took a job right out of college with the Trex Company, a fortune 500 company in the building materials industry. Jonny was passionate about helping others and excelled at that position, but he knew that really wasn’t his destiny here on planet Earth.

In 2011, Jonny got heavily involved in the health and fitness industry after deciding it was time to make a change for his life. Instead of spending his nights and weekends at the bar or partying in his late twenties, he started to compete and train for bodybuilding and fitness competitions, as well as pursue a personal training and nutrition certification in his free time. A couple friends of his saw what he was doing with his physique, and that was when Jonny realized his skills as a personal trainer and coach. That same year, Jonny met with the creators of Six Pack Shortcuts (YouTube’s Largest Fitness Channel at the time) and filmed some workout videos and content for their channel. After helping to grow the channel with an even larger following (some of Jonny’s videos had over 3MM views!) he decided to take his then side-gig, full-time.

In 2016 Jonny decided to leave his position of 10 years with the Trex company, to pursue coaching full-time with Six Pack Shortcuts (now SixPackAbs.com.) Since then, Jonny has been able to help over 250 men and women change their lives and improve their overall health and well being!

Samantha is a personal trainer, university professor, and clinical pharmacist. She’s also the better half of coach and THF owner, Jonny Catanzano, and has been serving as a fitness consultant and coach alongside Jonny for the past five years. Her love for fitness started with her own weight loss journey to improve her health, and eventually transformed into running half-marathons and becoming a nationally ranked bodybuilder in the women’s figure division.

As a clinical pharmacist, Samantha has extensive experience incorporating the fundamental principles of exercise and nutrition into the care of her patients. Her approach addresses both the educational and biopsychosocial aspects of promoting healthier habits. Although she specializes in treating mental health conditions, she is also trained to medically manage those with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.

Samantha’s speciality focuses on female clients and those with comorbid medical conditions that can benefit from weight loss and/or improvement in physical activity including anxiety, arthritis, chronic pain, depression, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and medication-related weight gain. In addition to helping clients incorporate exercise and nutrition into their overall care plan, she is particularly sensitive to the challenges that exist in today’s culture which idolizes fad diets and promotes disordered eating. Samantha embraces individuality, and diligently helps each client find a sustainable plan that fits into their lifestyle.
